I propose adding another view type, in addition to read and unread articles—namely, a Favorites view. If we have a lot of different articles, it would be nice to be able to save some of them for later.

Assumptions

  1. An additional option in the context menu and a keyboard shortcut to add an article to Favorites. If the article is already in Favorites, the option removes it from there.
  2. If an article is added to Favorites, the retention policy is ignored for it—it is never deleted.
  3. The Favorites view is located either above or below the Read and Unread articles views.
  4. I haven’t tested Blind RSS with providers other than the local one, so I don’t know whether such a view makes sense in their case. I assume that each provider has its own content retention rules.
