Thanks for the screenshots. The second one confirms that the 1.108.1 package is installed, and I have also verified that the published .deb contains the provider-dialog fix.

Please completely quit Accessible IPTV Client, including any tray/background instance, then launch it again and retry. Installing the .deb does not replace an already-running 1.108.0 process. Please also check Help → About after relaunching and confirm that the running app reports 1.108.1.

If it still becomes unresponsive from a fresh 1.108.1 launch:

  1. Tell me your Linux distribution and desktop environment/window manager.
  2. Try Alt+Tab and let me know whether an Add Stalker Portal Account window is present behind the Playlist Manager.
  3. Launch accessible-iptv-client from a terminal, reproduce the problem, and paste any terminal output plus the last relevant lines from /tmp/iptvclient_epg_debug.log.

That will tell us whether this is still a dialog-stacking problem specific to your desktop or an exception while wxGTK builds the dialog.

Thanks for clarifying. I’ve now made the Stalker Portal username and password optional. If you leave both fields blank, the app uses MAC-only authentication and skips the optional portal login step. The fields are also labelled as optional in the dialog.

This is available in v1.109.0. Since you’re on Debian, you can install the new accessible-iptv-client_1.109.0-1_all.deb. Please completely quit any running/tray instance before launching the updated version.

One request for future reports: when you send only screenshots, it is not always clear to me what behavior you want changed. I’m blind and primarily use a screen reader, so please include a short text description with the screenshots—what you did, what happened, and what you expected. That will help me understand and fix the problem more quickly.

Please let me know whether the MAC-only setup works with your portal.
